Halloween Orienteering 10/26/2002 -- Arctic Orienteering Club

This year's Halloween-O event was a great success and was very well attended. A clear, starry sky and snow-free trails made for a pleasant evening. The main event was a trick-or-treat course with seven decorated stations for kids to experience and pick up a piece of candy. Thanks to all who came out to participate, and to all those who set up a control or helped out in any way, and to Dan Ellsworth for heading up the whole effort.

The results below are for the two additional point-to-point (no candy) night orienteering courses set by Per Pedersen. Thanks again to Per for setting these up. The black course was quite challenging for night orienteering and offered some good route choice dilemmas.
