Gunnar's Score-O was held on May 19, 2004 at Storck Park, using the Section
36 Map.  There were four events:  a Long Score-O (75 minutes), a Medium
Score-O (60 minutes), a Beginner Score-O (45 minutes), and a regular White
Course.

Bill Spencer won the Long Score-O with an amazing 980 points.  Trond Jensen
was second with 870 points (920 points minus a 50-point deduction for being
1 minute late).

It was a nice sunny evening and we had a good turnout.  One control (at the
top of a hill) was missing, probably taken by hikers.  

None of our orienteering events could succeed without the help of
volunteers.  This event was no exception.  Special thanks to the following
people:

JIM GREEN of WILLIWAW PUBLISHING CO. printed the course maps.
DIANE RAMEY and MARCO GUTIERREZ worked the start/finish area doing
everything from registration to setting our refreshments to recording
results.
IAN MOORE and MARCO GUTIERREZ picked up the controls after the race.
